Bacon is delicious. But it is very messy to fry up in a pan. That is why I only cook bacon in the oven now. I also save bacon grease in a mason jar and store it in my fridge. Collecting the fat from baked bacon gives me a "cleaner" fat, without all the burned bits.
INGREDIENTS
Thick cut bacon
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 425º
Place desired amount of bacon on parchment-lined baking sheets. Place in hot oven and cook 18-22 minutes, or until desired crispness is reached.
